organic abstraction

This very first series made up of about twenty paintings is an exploration of the shapes and textures inspired by natural elements such as bark, shells, moss, mushrooms and rocks observed under a magnifying glass. Captured from new angles, these artifacts offer a new look at what may seem banal, so I discover their different facets and marvel at all these tiny spaces, their wear, their material. In the same way, I try to create this potential for exploration in each painting, allowing you to see something else very closely while leaving my touch invisible to the eye.
